Your organisation funds a cohort of subsidised or free memberships at Mission Kitchen for established entrepreneurs from a specific under-represented group. Participants gain access to everything they need to start, test and grow a food business — at little or no cost to them.
The Rise Residency supports exceptional food entrepreneurs from refugee and migrant backgrounds, helping them build a future in food.
Delivered in partnership with TERN (The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network), the programme supports 6 entrepreneurs annually.
Each participant receives 12 months of heavily subsidised membership, micro-grant funding, monthly 1:1 mentoring from an industry expert, and full access to our business programme of events, learning and networking.

"The Rise Residency is a timely programme run by the Mission Kitchen team and is fast becoming a key pathway to growth for TERN food entrepreneurs. The 12-month, heavily discounted membership gives them access to equipment, networking, mentorship and business support as well as seed money directly sent to their business bank account. We’re hoping to encourage more entrepreneurs to apply for the next round!"
